Bhutan tour Package for 8Nights /9Days trip

DAY 1 : Land at paro international airport / pick up from Phuntsholing terminal office and transfer to Thimphu city​

Upon arrival check in hotel and relax and in the evening explore the thimphu city and buy suvineirs.

DAY 2 : We ll start the day by visiting some of the most visited places in Bhutan, Such as the:

1. Thimphu fort which is the largest fort in the country and house the kings office including the monk body.
2. The sitting statue of BUDDHA SHAKYAMUNI on top of the hill, over looking the thimphu valley is considered to be the largest sitting statue of LORD BUDDHA.
3. SIMPLY BHUTAN MUSUEM is a place for our lunch, experience the spicy veg and non veg Bhutanese dish along with sticky red rice which is the main staple of Bhutanese people. You can also experience the rich culture and tradition of BHUTAN inside the tiny museum.
4. TAKIN Preserve ( area in the upper thimphu city converted into preserve for Bhutans national animals) you will not see this animal inside the closure anywhere else in the world.
5. TEXTILE MUSUEM( get a glimpse of the rich and colourful evolution of Bhutanese textile)

DAY 3 : check out and proceed to PUNAKHA (3hours drive) via DOCHULA PASS(3100mtr)

Stop by Dochula pass with an amazing panoramic view of the HIMALAYAN mountain including the highest unclimbed mountain in the world( GANGKAR PHUENSUM 7543mtr). And photo shoot with one of the most stunning view in BHUTAN.
Lunch will be on the way towards a small temple which is so unique as it is a place where childless couple come to receive the blessing of fertility.
After that proceed towards Punakha and visit the grand PUNAKHA FORT. It use to be the former capital of BHUTAN UNTIL 1950s and the seed of the government. The fort is considered very sacred as it contains the mummified body of the founder of Bhutan along with the special relic known as rangjung kharsapani.
Following visit the longest suspension bridge right next to the fort.

DAY 4 : PUNAKHA SIGHTSEEING

Hike to the KHAMSUM YUELAY TEMPLE on the top of the hill(1hour) following with river rafting and kayaking on the way back(1:30mins exclusive) and followed by lunch next to the same river. Next stop will be a beautiful Nunnery on top of the hill overlooking Punakha and wangdi district where girls practice Buddhism. After lunch we can proceed and visit the common places of tourist or go for cycling along the riverside.

DAY 5 : PUNAKHA TO GANGTEY( 3HOURS DRIVE)

The Phobjikha Valley is one of the most beautiful destinations in Bhutan. It is the winter home to a group of globally endangered black necked cranes that arrive every year from the Tibetan Plateau.
Set close to the centre of Bhutan, Gangtey is in a remarkably attractive glacial valley called Phobjikha. The region boasts various nature trails as well as a Crane Information Centre to educate visitors.
Gangtey boasts its own important religious sites such as the Gangtey Goempa Monastery, situated at the head of the valley, from where you can take in exceptional views.
Followed by a short downhill hike that will take you through the pine forest and can see the valley gradually opening with a breath taking view.

DAY 6 : GANGTEY TO PARO ( 4hours)

Enroute stop over Tamchog lhakhang and walk by the antique 14 century bridge over the Pa chu river which is fed by the glacier, After arriving visit the best restaurant for lunch in paro town.

DAY 7 :PARO SIGHTSEEING

Visit the Paro Dzong or fort which was constructed in 16 century by the founder of Bhutan to protect the country from Tibetan Invasion.
National Musuem originally constructed as a watch tower to the fort now houses ancient aritfacts
or drive to chelela pass( 3889mtr) the highest motorable road in Bhutan) distance 2hours)

DAY 8 : PARO

Last day will be all about hiking to the TIGER NEST. We don’t have alternative for this place so it is must, average time (4 hours) lunch on the half way at the cafeteria.
Evening stroll the paro town which is filled with suvenier shops and to a farm house for traditional Bhutanese bath (HOT STONE BATH) which we recommend especially after the hike inoder to ease the pain and to have a good sleep.

DAY 9 : DEPARTURE
